About...
Kira Safier is a NYC-based musical theatre artist. Graduating from Muhlenberg College with a BA in Theatre and Music, she embarks on this next chapter chasing the dreams she's cherished since her very first vocal lesson at 9-years-old. Theatre has been and continues to be her space; a space unconstrained by inhibition and free to vulnerability and truth. For Kira, the arts is a direct pathway to what drives, inspires, and challenges her.
Throughout her artistic journey, Kira has immersed herself in many subcategories of the arts - including popular and theatrical vocal training; Tap, Hip Hop, and Ballet; the techniques of Stanislavski, Meisner, and Commedia dell'Arte; musical improvisation; A-Capella; composition and conducting; song-writing; long-form comedy; playwriting; directing; musicianship; on-camera acting; and video and artistic production.
Her most notable credits include: Eliza DooLittle in My Fair Lady; Ensign Nellie Forbush in South Pacific and an Image in 35mm. Most recently, she toured with Cirque du Soleil's Cirque Dreams Holidaze as a Lead Vocalist from November to December in 2024!
Kira's family and friends would confidently describe her as a deeply kind person who finds joy in bringing happiness to others. Whether this be through her love of music, her obsession with holiday festivities, or her drive for constant laughter, she will always strive to be a helping hand and a shining light - on stage and in life!
